Upwork is a platform where you can find freelance jobs in a ton of different categories—bookkeeping, web development, graphic design, data science, social media management, and so much more. It’s arguably the #1, international platform for freelancing – they get thousands of applications a day and rejects a lot of freelancers, so make sure to check out this guide on how to fill out your application.
Once you become accepted, complete every section of your profile to show up higher in Upwork’s search results. To apply for jobs on Upwork, you have to use between 1 and 5 of your “connects” (this is just the name Upwork uses for quotes). You get 60 for free each month, and if you want to buy more, you have to pay $1 per connect, so sadly Upwork isn’t completely free to use.
